Saturday waves

there were'nt too many with a long wait for the sets but i'd rather surf than meet the queen, more of a mal wave than a kneelo wave, the banks are still really deep, there was the odd good wave as you can see from the pics

end of the month this w'end and NOT looking very good at this stage so no club meet
planned, if the swell does manage to come up on Saturday morning and you want a
surf then wedge might be just surfable

Sunday morning part 2

two good sunday's in a row...very rare in Perth, really good waves at Scarborough this morning but it did'nt last long, the swell got close to 4.5 meters with a clean nor-east wind, the crowd factor was there and with guys like Antman sitting out the back pulling in really deep on the easily o'head bombs, it wasnt easy to snag a decent one (the fisheye lense setting on the gopro makes the waves look half their size

Scarborough Beach

sounds like some good waves were had up past wedge on the w'end....i dipped out
but surfed scabs almost everyday last week....couple of very early sessions felt a bit
sharky and with good reason....Oct - Nov are proving to be very dodgey months on
the West Coast

i opted for the shorter drive on Sunday back to Scabs....busiest day of the week
with a inter-club comp being set-up but still a few nice waves

Looks like it is ON for the club gathering this coming Sunday 9th October.

Its looking pretty decent size wise and wind at this stage, so I’ll call it for Wedge, 7am meet at the turn off before you enter the shacks. We will likely surf further up the beach as per last time. I’ll keep you posted but put it in your diary.
